1. Who we are

This website is operated by EmpowerHR, a trading name providing HR consultancy and compliance services to businesses in Ireland. We are based in Dublin, Ireland.

EmpowerHR is the data controller for any personal data collected through this website. If you have any questions about how we handle your data, you can contact us at hello@empowerhr.ie.

2. What data we collect

We collect personal data only when you choose to contact us through the enquiry form on this website. The information you may provide includes:

  • First name and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Company name (optional)
  • Number of employees at your business
  • A brief description of your HR challenge or enquiry

We do not collect any data through cookies set by this website, and we do not run advertising tracking scripts. When you load this page, your browser may make requests to Google's servers to load fonts (Google Fonts). Google's privacy policy governs any data collected in that process.

3. How we use your data

We use the information you submit through our contact form solely to:

  • Respond to your enquiry
  • Arrange a consultation if requested
  • Provide you with information about our services

We will not use your contact details to send unsolicited marketing communications.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data on the basis of legitimate interests — specifically, to respond to enquiries made to us — and, where applicable, with your consent at the point of submission.

If we enter into a service agreement with you, we will also process data as necessary to perform that contract.

5. Third parties who receive your data

Our contact form is processed by Web3Forms (web3forms.com), a third-party form submission service. When you submit the form, your data is transmitted to Web3Forms' servers, which forward your message to our email inbox. Web3Forms acts as a data processor on our behalf.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties for marketing purposes.

6. How long we keep your data

We retain your enquiry information for as long as is necessary to manage our business relationship with you, and for a reasonable period thereafter in case of follow-up. If you become a client, we retain relevant records for the duration of the engagement and for the period required by applicable law. If your enquiry does not result in a service engagement, we will retain your details for no longer than 12 months.

You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at hello@empowerhr.ie.

7. Your rights under GDPR

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Irish data protection law, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access — you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your data, subject to any legal retention obligations.
  • Right to restriction — you can ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to data portability — you can request your data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Right to object — you can object to processing based on legitimate interests.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@empowerhr.ie. We will respond within one month of receiving your request.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie), the Irish supervisory authority for data protection.

8. Data security

This website is served over HTTPS. Data submitted through our contact form is transmitted securely. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of this website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
